This module streamlines the process that allows laboratories to perform calibration services directly at the customer's facilities using a handheld device or tablet. With the help of this module, laboratories can synchronize their On-Site calibration list, assign Standards (M&TE) for the specific service, calibrate assets (UUT) with predefined Datasheet Templates, print Calibration labels and generate Certificates.

Workflow

The process begins when agreed services are scheduled on the Calmetro service calendar. The technician will then synchronize the service (calibration list) to the mobile app on the tablet or handheld device or tablet.

The technician assigned to the job will then assign Standards (M&TE) to take to the customer site and create an Asset Removal in Calmetro.

At the customer's site, the technician will open the Calmetro Mobile app on his handheld device or tablet and record all calibration measurements on the previously loaded calibration list. Please note that If the customer requests additional items, these can be added on the fly. For every calibrated Unit, the technician can print the Calibration label to a Bluetooth printer. Since the App has a fresh copy of the Model database and Calibration Datasheet Templates, this process may operate without an Internet connection. If the Tech has an Internet connection, he can generate certificates and publish to the customer Portal on the spot.

The app also allows creating a Pickup shipper for items required to be calibrated back in the Laboratory.

When the service is completed, the technician can ask for the customer's signature on the calibration list directly on his handheld device or tablet. After returning to the laboratory, the technician can Check-In the Standards (M&TE) removed for the On-site calibration. The service is then synced back to Calmetro Web, and final details are completed. Calibrations paperwork are reviewed to ensure quality of results and stamped to generate the Certificates.
